Dignity Street Annual Awards. Recognising people living In Wales who have suffered Mental Health Issues, and have transformed their lives regardless of there race gender and sexual orientation.
The awards are open to persons over 16 years of age, and who have suffered mental health issues and transformed there life. Whilst it is hard to define exactly what we mean by transformed, we are looking for an activity that the person has achieved, i.e. Whether they have develop special skills, qualifications or qualities to improve their quality of life, or have been cited for rushing to the aid of people facing life-threatening situations.
After all nominees applications have been received, a panel of independent judges will judge each nomination and will shortlist three nominations who will each receive an award. Those shortlisted will be invited to the awards ceremony to take place in Swansea location and date to be confirmed shortly. The winners will be announced at the ceremony and receive their award in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
