Appointments

We support people over sixteen experiencing, Stress Anxiety or Depression regardless of race gender or sexual orientation. Clients can be referred by a Doctor, Health Practitioner, Charity or can Self refer.

We offer a range of *no-cost support services including our unique Self-Care and Resilience Programme, Counselling and Mentoring. The programmes provide the skills and resilience training, to deal with mental health issues of stress anxiety and depression. Resilience is the ability to recover and bounce back from adversity and hardships, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before. 

Clients over 16 years of age, may be referred by a Doctor, Health Practitioner, or Self-refer.

Diagnostic Questionnaire

Everyone being referred or self-referring is required to complete the, Dignity Street Online Stress Test Questionnaire. The Information on the questionnaire is confidential and will assist us, and save time during your appointment. The questionnaire has a set of yes/no questions about Stress, Anxiety, Depression and life’s events and is a helpful tool in assisting your health practitioner with their assessment. The questionnaire is available, via a link at the bottom of this page, and will take approximately 3 or 4 minutes to complete, we will then contact you using the e-mail address or phone number you entered in the questionnaire. (If you have haven’t heard from us within 24 hours, please check your junk mail before contacting us)

At your appointment: You will meet, a senior member of the Mental Health and Well-Being team that has been assigned to you, they will discuss the results of the questionnaire with you, and you will have ample time and opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish. We are unable to give stress test results over the phone.

The type of support or *services we offer may be subject to delays depending on the demand for our services. On rare occasions clients are signposted to other mental health professionals, if it is considered to be more appropriate for the client’s requirements.

We are not a walk-in centre:  Please contact us via Email: admin@dignitystreet.org  or  Phone: 0300 030 6171 calls from landlines and mobiles are normally included in call packages, and should be charged at local rates. If we are experiencing high call volumes, please leave your name telephone number, and a short message we will always strive to return the call as soon as possible.

*Our services are available to the unemployed and people who are at risk of developing Stress, Anxiety or Depression and have completed our online diagnostic assessment questionnaire.
