We are proud to say to all those organisations. We reinvest 100% of the fees we charge to help and support, individuals and families in Wales affected by Mental Health Issues.

Losing a staff member for any length of time to a stress-related condition, can have a dramatic impact on the workload and morale over any department.

Resilience is the ability to recover and bounce back from adversity and hardships, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before. Our Self-Care Well-Being and Resilience programmes will provide you staff with the necessary skills to achieve this.

David Course Facilitator and Co-founder of Dignity Street Foundation, has been a member of the International Association of stress management (ISMA) since 2000 and is uniquely qualified to help your employees. David has been writing and delivering Self-Care and Resilience Programmes for nearly a quarter of a century, and has taught many thousands of people self-care resilience skills that have attended his unique courses.

Testimonial of his reputation comes from the number of patients referred to David by hospitals, doctors and consultants. Within his private practice, he has treated a wide range of mental health issues, including Post­ Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Anxiety, Depression, Sleep and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Myalgic Encephalitis (M.E.), Bulimia, Anorexia Nervosa, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), chronic pain, and weight reduction.

David uses the most up to date scientific techniques that are easy to use, but will be remarkably and effective in bringing change and improvement to all areas of employees lives.

Courses can be presented in-house or a venue of your choice. Each person receives an 85 page A5 manual at the end of the course, containing all the relevant notes needed to refer back to whenever required. Also a set of four audio mp3.s developed to reinforce and build upon the techniques taught during the course itself.

Tow Day Self-Care Well-Being & Resilience Course:

Day one Self-Care: 9. pm – 5. pm

Stress is a natural part of life, In a world where the only constant is change, it comes as no surprise that life has become universally stressful. Dignity Street Foundation is here to support and help your organisation.

The purpose of a stress response (Fight or Flight) is to give us more energy as and when required. This energy can be used to a positive effect in helping us to meet deadlines and deal with life’s problems easily and calmly. 

So why do we think of stress as a problem? When we say that someone is suffering from stress what we mean is that they are under extra and excessive stress. Too many demands, or too few, are being made and we feel unable to cope.

Day two Resilience Programme 9. am – 5. pm

Self-Care and Resilience, is about taking steps to better yourself, such as learning new skills or overcoming bad habits. Developing yourself to become the person you want to be is a grand challenge, and one that many people undertake in order to create new meaning and fulfil their lives.

It is about taking responsibility for yourself, your thoughts and your actions, understand how you think and changing yourself for the better. Self-Care is a lifelong process, It is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realise and maximise their potential.

Learning Outcome

You will come away empowered with the ability to identify precisely your goals in life, ways to breakdown barriers to those goals, and ultimately how to turn your dreams into reality also Including.
