Our Stress Management Well-being Self-care and Resilience courses are free*  for those who qualify, It’s  about taking steps to better yourself, such as learning new life skills or overcoming bad habits. Developing yourself to become the person you want to be is a grand challenge, and one that many people undertake in order to create new meaning and fulfil their lives.

Resilience is the ability to recover and bounce back from adversity and hardships, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before.

It is about taking responsibility for yourself, your thoughts and your actions, understand how you think and changing yourself for the better. This personal development is a lifelong process, It is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realise and maximise their potential.

Resilience planning goes hand in hand with our self-care approach to mental health, by equipping clients with the resilience to deal with any challenges as they meet them.

Dignity Street bespoke courses support the staff of private and public sector organisations, providing them with vital training in mental health self-care, well-being and resilience planning.

Courses enable participants to understand the meaning of stress and how to differentiate it from pressure.

Course are practical engaging and include a variety of individual exercises. Employees will also benefit from revisiting the exercises after the course when they have the time and space to think fully about their life and the issues raised.

A toolkit of self-care, stress management and resilience techniques and exercises is provided for employees to use in the work environment as well as in their personal lives.

Courses normally span two consecutive days, but arrangements can be made to deliver the courses over separate days.

Courses are taught in a lecture style setting (and is not group therapy); as such there are no discussion of any personal issues. This allows people who feel uncomfortable talking in front of others to attend without any concerns.
